Okay, so I’m maybe not as well-equipped to building a website as I thought.
Turns out, it’s easy to overestimate one’s web design talent when most of one’s experience was just playing around with existing websites. Sites that an actual pro had built. Oh well.
I still have no earthly idea what I’m going to use this site for, but it’s becoming a more time-consuming hobby than I’d anticipated. I just wanted a place to get some writing practice and actually be able to publish that writing. Instead, I’ve spent a whole morning trying to figure out why the font colour on one page’s dropdown menu is different from all the other pages.
Again, oh well.
Here’s my first non-hello-world post. Let 2022 be the year that I can just post stuff and not spend entire days fiddling with font colours.
